Most of the Likatier live in one of the tribal houses, but some prefer to live in other houses. It's up to the individual. The core settlement area of the tribe is located directly on the river Lech in the old town of Füssen. The tribe members also live in houses all over Füssen's old town. We also find them in other parts of Füssen, as well as in the various communities around the Säuling. Also the way of living together is very different. Some have their own apartment (or even a house of their own), in which they live either alone or with their family, many have their own room within the framework of a house-living community with shared use of kitchen, bathroom and toilet. Here, too, everyone lives according to his or her own taste.
