The trunk is currently cultivating fine vegetables, herbs and potatoes on part of the land. There are also trials with cereals, hill beds and green manure.

The focus here is more on employment

  • how to get in contact with the country?
  • what is proper handling? (e.g. machine or manual work, handling pests, etc).

The ideas of the "forest garden", permaculture and thoughts of Sepp Holzer, Wolf-Dieter Storl and Eike Braunroth are inspiring.

In 2002, the strain was able to feed on its own potatoes for 7 months, which had previously been planted, cared for and later harvested in joint campaigns.
