Permaculture forest garden

The vision of the tribe is to pursue sustainable agriculture in the sense of permaculture. Permaculture comes from "permanent agriculture" and means "sustainable or permanent agriculture" and was developed by the Australian Bill Mollison. For this idea he received the Alternative Nobel Prize in 1981. Permaculture is the construction of comprehensive, self-sustaining ecosystems for the benefit of man and nature. More and more people are now interested in permaculture and are working on numerous projects based on these concepts. The basis is the observation and imitation of nature to create sustainable, self-sustaining ecological circles. Permaculture tries not to work against nature and to eliminate disturbances, but to learn by observation and to see disturbances as part of the solution. The goal is a long-term balance.

The tribal members introduce themselves in the final state of permaculture forest gardens, in which there is no clear separation between "wild growth" and "culture". Forest gardens are a replica of a natural forest. Once planted and designed, it only needs a minimum of work and supplies fruit, nuts, vegetables and herbs throughout the growing season. Such forest gardens or "paradise gardens" are not only there for the production of food, but also create a living and diverse habitat for animals, plants and people.
