in summary
Collector culture
Since the tribe lives on the edge of the Alps, there is relatively untouched or still uncultivated nature (the Alps and the foothills of the Alps) in the immediate vicinity, in which we already collect a (small) part of our food. Besides the forest gardens, a vision is to develop a distinct culture of collecting wild herbs, roots, berries, fungi, medicinal plants and others, also outside the tribe's own lands. In this way, many tribal members already have a connection to numerous wild plants. In the future, this collecting culture should take up a broad space in the life and self-sufficiency of the tribe. In the process, extensive knowledge about the landscape and the locations of plants and fungi will develop, which will give the strain a high degree of crisis resistance and survivability in the event of a disaster.
